About Us

Sophia and Mike in the early days

Our first "workshop" (aka the dining room table), 2019.

It Started With a Sketch on a Coffee Stained Napkin

If you had walked into our home five years ago, you wouldn't have found a place to eat dinner. Our dining table was buried under rolls of leather, spools of thread, and endless sketches.

The idea belonged to Sophia. She was tired of the "fast fashion" cycle—bags that looked perfect in store windows but felt soulless and stiff in real life. She wanted something that felt like a companion: honest, soft, and built to handle the chaos of real life.

When she couldn't find it, she decided to make it.

The Partnership
I (her husband) watched her work late into the night, frustrated by a needle that wouldn't go through thick leather. One evening, I sat down to help. What started as "just helping for an hour" turned into our life's passion.

We spent months learning the hard way. We pricked our fingers. We wasted material. We argued over zipper placements at 2 AM. But we also fell in love with the process. There is a quiet magic in taking a raw piece of leather and turning it into something beautiful with just your two hands.

Why We Are Moving (And What Stays the Same)
We never expected this quiet project to resonate so loudly. Because of you, our bags are now carried by women all over the world.

Our little home workshop is officially bursting at the seams. We are currently moving into a larger space—not to become a nameless factory, but to give our small team the room they need to breathe and create.

The space is bigger, but the philosophy remains the same: Slow down. Check the stitch. Make it last.

With love and gratitude,
Sophia & Mike
